I love making Caramel. I love caramel. I really cannot even begin to tell you my addiction to sugar and butter and how caramel is the perfect blend of amazing come to find out. Now I know why all of my life I have loved it. This recipe is SUPER easy and only take 5 minutes compared to the kind that uses a candy thermometer and all kinds of stuff. (I’ll post my recipe for that kind of caramel too one day :)) So here it is! Step by step! For 2 Jars!

2 sticks of butter melting in a pot. Yes.    2 cups of bowl sugar melted into the pot. Double YES!
Heavy cream… I do a little extra then the recipe because I love everything amazingly rich… 1 and 2/3 cup.   
2 splashes Vanilla     A big pinch of salt.
  Stir and poor into wonderful jars of now magic.  And there you go!! They last up to a month but I use the sticky God like nectar on mostly anything I possibly can!                       (Pretzels, apples, pancakes, cookies, cakes, pies and I’m sure I could think of more….)
