Bangers and Mash

I saw this recipe one day cruising through Facebook and knew admittedly I needed to make it! Bangers and Mash also Sausage and Mashed Potatoes is amazing and now my favorite meal! Here’s how you do it,

I did half the recipe since it was just for the fiancée and I so double it if your cooking for more. 🙂

I just 2 Hot Links. I found this brand at Walmart and I’m in love!Cut hot links in half and put in a pan with small cage of cherry tomatoes. I pick the fun color ones usually. I can’t help myself. Pour over about 1 tablespoon of olive oil 1/4 cup of Balsamic Vingear 1/2 cup hot chicken or beef broth. Sprinkle over some salt and pepper. I also use a little salt free all purpose seasoning. Toss that into the oven at 325 for 30 minutes and get started on boiling some potatoes for the mash. I did 4 peeled Idaho potatoes. I boiled mine for the duration of the sausage cooking process. Then I drained them, added 3 tablespoons butter, 1/4 cup of milk and started mashing away. Beautiful…. After the 30 minutes is up take them out of the oven, flip the sausage and return to oven for another 20 minutes. Then it’s good golly miss molly and time to assemble!!Potato first. Make sure you make a nook for the sausage. 2 1/2 links in the Potato nook and tomatoes on top! After playing make sure you use the extra juices from the pan as your dressing/gravy! I love it. It’s so easy to make and inexpensive too! A new family favorite for sure!
