Easy Southern Pecan Praline Sauce

I have to admit this sauce is easy peasy and totally worth just having around in the fridge. The first time I made this sauce I used it as a topper for cheesecake. Oh. My. God. Talk about upping the game! It was like a whole different slice of cheesecake goodness!! It’s got a bit of a caramel base and the extra buttery texture and chopped pecans really make it thick and gooey yum yum oh my goodness yum!!

But enough about me talking about it! Here’s the recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Butter
  • 1 cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 1/2 cups of Chopped Pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Sea Salt

Start simply by melting down the butter in a small sauce pan. Then add the brown sugar and whisk till melted down. Add in cream and bring to soft boil for 10 minutes. remove from heat and then add chopped pecans. Stir in and allow to cool. Jar!

Living. Loving. Saucing.
