DIY Popcorn Seasoning

I love popcorn… It’s one of my favorite things. I love eating it in any flavor….So I thought about it for awhile… What would be my all time favorite popcorn seasoning be? Mmm, salty… Herby… Cheesey… Spicy…

Then it hit me! How much money have I been spending on these fancy popcorn seasoning trying this all out?! Too much money. Too. Much. Money.

So just glancing around my pantry I noticed a few things,

I gotta clean my pantry.

I have no clue why I have so much corriander.

I have a bunch of salt…

So it occurred to me, finally, that I should just make my own! What could go wrong?

What I used to make my perfect seasoning is:

1/2 cup Salt

2 limes zested

2 sprigs of Freshly chopped Rosemary

1/2 a Tablespoon Cayenne Pepper

3 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese

All you have to do is take the ingredients and mix them in a bowl. Then move them to whatever cute jar you have on standby and stick in the refrigerator for later use, or make yourself as much popcorn as you can and eat it all! I don’t recommend this at all… But if you want to, go for it! It delicious and amazing and totally worth the stomach ache. (In my opinion.)

This little jar also makes great for a small gift or an addition to any gift basket you are creating for someone. It may be the fun new addition to my Christmas baskets this year… (Wait am I already planning Chrsitmas? …Yes, yes I am.)
