Dehydrated Oranges from the Oven

Simple hacks are my favorite, and getting things ready for later use.I looooove oranges and I always panic when I get too many and I don’t know what to do but eat them all right now. So I finally found a way to save them for later use.

Dehydrated Oranges from the Oven

Ingredients and tools:

  • 3 oranges
  • 1 foiled lined tray
  • Oven
  • Preheat oven to 150 degrees. Wash and slice oranges thinly. Aline on foiled tray sprayed lightly with cooking spray. (I use coconut oil.) Leave on the middle oven rack for 2 hours with the oven door propped open. After the 2 hours are up watch the oranges closely for another 1/2 hour to make sure they don’t burn. Half of mine took the full 2 1/2 hours and the other half took another 1 1/2 hours. After they are all finished put them in a sealing plastic bag with a folded paper towel to soak up any extra moisture. These will last you up to 6 months or more.
