I love sourdough if you don’t already know.
And I lovvvve cinnamon raisin bread.
Awhile back I wrote a blog post about a wonderful recipe I found for Cinnamon Rasin Sourdough Bread (link over there 👈🏻)
But this year I wanted to add a change to it to make it into apple pie bread. It just seems like the right thing to do.
The only differences in the recipe is instead of raisins use dried apples. The night before making the bread preheat your oven to 400 degrees, while it’s heating cut up one apple into tiny pieces. Once it’s heated turn it off and put the apples onto a lined baking sheet and into the oven overnight.
Then instead of just cinnamon add in a teaspoon of apple pie spice into your cinnamon sugar mix.
I promise. This is worth it. Like severely the best thing in my head to eat on our Christmas morning together. I love a great piece of toast.
Living. Loving. Baking.
