So instead of a garden update this month I thought I would do something a bit different and share the things that have been happening in my life. Hense the title Life Update.
If you remember my 2021 Goals: post then you know I’ve had some goals for the year to get done. So far only a couple items have been checked off the list.
Like the chicken coop. It’s not fully finished but it’s up and doing it’s job!
The screen door is painted and hung and we have just a couple more tasks to finish up that whole item.
But in other news I’ve been writing a lot more. More a book of poetry then anything.
I started journaling again last year and that started a major shift in my life to get back to the thing that truly makes me happy- writing poems to God.
Not all of them are love poems, some make my heart break reading them again and seeing and feeling the pain all over but if you have a relationship with God then you know it’s not all rainbows and butterflies, and that’s okay.
This month I’m also wanting to map out a fitness and health journey I want to take next month to get me motivated and excited for it. I honestly always work better when I have a plan fully laid out for myself. If I’m winging it, I’ll just end up quitting or forgetting. Back in April 2019 I did one and it was hard for a bit and then got really easy as time went on. Obviously habit adjustments are hard soooo yeah. And with summer right around the corner I’m feeling more and more of a push to get myself back into a super healthy lifestyle.
Beyond all of that though my hubs has started a new job and finally we will be able to have a bit more freedom. Honestly we are beyond thankful for this new transition and what the Lord has in store next.
