October 2021 Garden Update

And it’s a big one! Thankfully. My Spring and Summer harvests where very blah so I’m hopeful it will be better this time.

I went a little crazy starting on my winter harvest to be honest and I’m sooo hopeful they all pull through happily so I can store and stock pile like my little hearts desires.

Carrots don’t have a photo sadly because they are still so small. I tried honestly but they along with some other are just still too wispy and tiny.

Lettuces: see above.

Kale: see above above.

Brussels Sprouts

Sweet Peas

Sugar Snap Peas

They are also moving and growing quickly. They are happy with this weather.

Potatoes

I have 3 kinds of potatoes as of now and they are all minis: red, purple and yellows. All growing and being mounded. We are still using the old double sink we found in the yard for the potatoes too. It works wonderfully.

Cabbage

The Cabbages are just little starts as of now but they are getting bigger and happier. I’ll have to get their place all set up and ready in a hurry.

Green Onions

The green onions are doing wonderful! I started them from grocery scraps a few months ago.

Granny Smith Apple Tree is in the middle of our harvest and we have officially 33 apples this season!

Okay. That’s it I think… if not… I’ll make another post come harvest time 😅

Living. Loving. Gardening.
