And it was honestly a very good time.
I had my concerns and worries but it all turned out to be a great experience for us both.
Back in April the rodeo was held in Norco, CA for their 50th Annual Horse Week event. This was the first one since COVID so it was a full house! At one point the second nights seats where over sold and people where getting kinda unruly about it!

The Hubs and I volunteered to work the VIP booths serving drinks and my goodness, it was so much more fun then I thought it was going to be. I’ve done a bit of waitressing in my life so luckily enough the skill was easy to pick back up again quickly. The Hubs, it being his first time ever using a serving tray, did amazing and I can’t begin to tell you how incredibly proud I am of him for not spilling even one drink! His booth area loved him so much they wanted to take us out for a drink! 😅
It was a different kind of hard work weekend then we are usually used to but I’m very thankful to have another job well done under our belt. It is always a wonderful day when I get to work with my favorite human.
