Oh my Lordy Lord Lordy… I’m in love. I have made sooo much of this sauce… and it’s mine! I made it up basically after searching as many other recipes as possible just to make sure it wasn’t the same AND I still loved it! I feel like some people just change a part of one recipe and suddenly call it theirs.

Whatever. This sauce is so amazing I can’t explain it anymore. Spicy. Sweet. A bit salty.

Soooo here’s the ingredients and the how to! Let me tell you how easy this is too!!

Honey BBQ Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup water

2 Cups Ketchup

2 Tablespoons of Yellow Mustard

3 Tablespoons Favorite Hot Sauce (I Use Franks Red Hot)

2 Tablespoons Worchestire Sauce

5 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Lemon Juiced

5 Tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar

3 Tablespoons White Sugar

2 Tablespoons Paprika

1 Teaspoon of Salt and Black Pepper

3 Tablespoons Raw Honey

Directions:

  1. Mix all wet ingredients, except for honey, into a large pot for boiling.
  2. After heated throughly mix in all dry ingredients and whisk together.
  3. Add in honey and whisk in.
  4. Leave on low for 20 minutes stirring randomly.
  5. Let cool before jarring. Serve always and whenever!

Cherry Pie you guys… Oh the most amazing summer treat… Cherry 🍒 Pie… Whenever summer rolls around now I’m beyond tempted! I used to say I didn’t like cherry pie. The truth is I only like FRESH cherry pie. NOT canned cherry pie. And making fresh cherry pie is messy. Last time my house looked like someone had been brutally murdered! 🔪 

But the hard work can be worth it. Oh can it be worth it. Tempting… oh Cherry Pie you are very very tempting!! 

I’m going to look into some new recipes. Something new and amazing to do with these summer beauties! If you have suggestions go ahead and leave them in the comments section! I need help!!

I love chicken. I love any kind of chicken! But the crockpot chickens you guys are my latest obsession and this one is done by my idol! The Pioneer Woman Ree 🙂 Here’s a link to her site… and pictures of my attempt. Butter Roasted Chicken Pioneer Woman Style

 Preheat oven to 400 degrees Ingredients include: Fryer Chicken, 4 Lemons, 5 sprigs of Rosemary, 2 Sticks of Butter and Salt and Pepper to taste. A stick of butter 3 branches (without the branch) of Rosemary chopped. Chop it more then this. I was rushing… which is exactly what PW did… and says not to do… 2 lemons zested with salt and pepper to taste. Mush it. Mash it together. I used my fingers because I like to make a mess. 🙂 Plop it on your birdie. Smear it all over! Don’t forget to get into all the cracks and crevices! Cover it all!! Stuff it with 2 quartered lemons and as many rosemary sprigs as possible! Then put in oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Look at the gloriousness!!! Cover it with foil after pulling it out for 10 minutes. Let your bird chill out dude… Now serve…. Oh my goodness golly you guys! Ahhmazing! I served our bird with whole steamed artichokes with lemon and butter (home grown by my neighbor) and some creamy mashed potatoes. Oh my Lordy… This recipe is amazing. It’s delicious. Use the leftover chicken on anything you can!
