Happy Halloween everyone! It’s the creepiest of seasons and it is officially time to start planning and plotting the pumpkin designs!
Here is a step by step picture tutorial on how to wing it at pumpkin carving!
First make an outline! Choose what you want your pumpkin to look like. I’m a basic person while my husband likes designs.
The next step is to empty the pumpkin out! So you cut the stem off with a circle cut around the top of the pumpkin… 
And remove!
Then scoop out the insides! Make sure you save all of the goodies in a bowl with water to soak the seeds for roasting later on. 😉
All clean! We did our carving outside on the picnic table and covered it with card board and listened to halloween music! 
Next steps are to cut out your pieces. Where you marked on your pumpkin use a cutting utensil and carve out the pieces to make your jack o lantern!
Danny did an amazing one one year! We usually end up carving pumpkins 2 weekends in a row before halloween so we can do as many as we can and still have some ready for halloween. We also only use LED candles to watch out for Fire Hazards.
